Uniting Adoptive Families For A better Community

SAFY cares for and strengthens more than 12,000 families and children each year. As a national leader in providing an integrated community-based system of care resulting in permanency and well-being for families and youth, with a goal to return every child placed in foster care to the stability of a family in the least amount of time possible. SAFY’s Model of Care provides services such as community-based behavioral health and in-home support services to strengthen vulnerable families and increase youth resiliency.

In 2014, 41.5 percent of SAFY clients who entered care were discharged to permanency within 12 months, exceeding the federal benchmark of 40.4 percent. SAFY demonstrates a familial improvement rate of 91 percent, exceeding their internal benchmark of 88.5 percent and increasing the life skills and coping strategies of each family and individual.

Although SAFY is doing well in their mission of uniting foster children with new families, we believe the job isn’t done until every foster child has found a home. Join us in our new community cause campaign as we team up with SAFY to further bring foster children together with a loving family.
